Refund Policy

Last updated: 18 June 2026

The short version

Cancel anytime from Settings. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, then your account drops to the free plan. We do not refund the unused portion of a paid period, with the exceptions below.

Monthly plan — how billing dates work

Stripe charges you on the same day each month as your original sign-up. For example, if you subscribe on the 15th, your card is charged on the 15th of every month going forward until you cancel. If a month is shorter than your sign-up day (e.g. you sign up on the 31st), Stripe bills on the last day of that month and resumes the original day the following month. Cancel any time from Settings — your access runs to the end of the month you have already paid for, then stops. We do not pro-rate or refund the remaining days.

Lump-sum plans (Class of 26 and Class of 27)

Lump-sum plans give you access to a fixed end date. As a goodwill policy (not required by Australian Consumer Law for digital services), within 7 days of the original purchase you can request a full refund provided usage has been minimal (under 15 AI interactions). After 7 days, lump-sum plans are non-refundable except where the Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise (see below). To request a refund within the 7-day window, contact us via the support form.

Mistakes and duplicate charges

If you have been charged twice, charged after cancelling, or charged on the wrong account, contact us with the charge date and the last four digits of your card. We will investigate and fix any genuine error within 5 business days.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). The ACL does not impose a statutory cooling-off period for online digital subscriptions — our 7-day goodwill window is offered voluntarily on top of your statutory rights. If a service fails to meet a consumer guarantee you are entitled to a remedy. The ACCC at accc.gov.au can help if you believe your rights have not been respected.

What is not refundable

  • Unused days of a monthly plan after cancellation (you keep access instead).
  • Lump-sum plans after the 7-day goodwill window.
  • Accounts closed for breaching our Terms of Service.

How to contact us

Use our billing contact form from the email address on your account, with the charge date, last four digits of the card used, and a short explanation. We respond within 5 business days and process approved refunds within 10 business days.
